Competition Seminar a Success!
Dear All,
GB Chino had its first Competition Seminar this past Sunday! It was a lot of fun and we learned so much together. Professor Rafael explained the competition scoring system, tournament rules, and etiquette for competitors and spectators. At the end, students worked on some basic submission escape techniques taught by Professor Rafael.
After the seminar, the students enjoyed lunch together. There was also a free raffle for Gracie Barra merchandise (hat, t-shirts, and rashguards). Our dear student, Andrew Charles, won a free private with Professor Rafael. Juniors student, Andres Leon, won a free private with Coach Kelly. Thanks to all students who attended!
October is a very exciting month for all GB schools in California...the 2nd Annual So Cal Classic is finally here! The tournament is just for Gracie Barra students; kids and adults! This year also marks the addition of the No Gi division for adults. This tournament is a celebration of the Gracie Barra family and we look forward to seeing all GB students compete and have fun.
