Pictures from the Women's Class and Breakfast at GB America

Kelly and Shirley had a great time participating in the women's class and breakfast at the Irvine headquarters.  All the ladies celebrated the year anniversary of the women's program in Irvine, headed by Professor Ana Laura.  They also celebrated the newest addition to the pink team...Professor Flavio and Coach Vivi's daughter, Valentina!  Here are some cool pictures from the class.  Remember, female team members from any GB school are welcome to participate!  See you at the next breakfast!

World No Gi Results

Gracei Barra had another successful showing at this year's World No Gi Championships.  As a team Gracie Barra took second place in the Adult, Master and Senior, and Female divisions.  GB Chino would like to congratulate our dear Eric "Doc" Dodson on his first place finish.  We are so proud of our World Champion!

Congratulations Competitors!

The recent Gracie Barra So Cal Classic was a great success!  It was a lot of fun, due largely to the great sportsmanship shown by competitors from all schools.

Our Chino competitors walked away with an amazing 9 golds and 23 medals overall!  We are so proud of all our competitors; everyone gave a great effort.  Their achievement is a reflection of all our Chino students.  Everyone's dedication and hard work contributed to our school's success.

Here are some photos from the kids tournament:

GB Tournament: thank you for your time, energy and resources in participating with us!

Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Above is a nice group picture from Master Carlos Gracie Jr (sitting in front of the group) and GB members.

We had a great 2nd south cal classic tournament!

Every single one of the GB Competitors fought so hard and displayed phenomenal progress with technique & character! We could not be more proud of each and every one who participated.

Winning is always a fun experience and losing a match is but a momentary disappointment leading toward progress, perseverance and creativity. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu players deserve a great deal of credit for showing up to compete, regardless of the results. of course it is in our nature to want to win.

We are participating together in the growth of what is commonly agreed to be the fastest growing sport in the world. With that, we all carry a leadership role as those who become interested in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts will turn to us for information, advice and guidance.

Many thanks to everyone at the GB Competition Network for putting on a great event and to all friends, families and competitors who made the event possible – thank you for your time, energy and resources in participating with us!
